Paying with a UnitedHealthcare UCard

UCardMany of our customers have received UCards from UnitedHealthcare, the new Medicare Advantage member ID card, which gives you access to many more benefits. On UnitedHealthcare’s website, one benefit listed for the UCard is the ability to pay eligible utilities. We’ve contacted UnitedHealthcare for instructions on how you can use this benefit.

To gain access to your UnitedHealthcare benefit of paying utilities, you must register on the UHC website or the mobile app:

  • To activate your UCard, so it’s ready to use when your coverage starts, visit the UCard Hub website

  • To download the phone app, visit the UCard app website

  • Customers can register their UCard and view their benefits at the Healthy Benefits+ website, visit www.healthybenefitsplus.com

At this time, Skagit PUD cannot process UCard payments for your utility account at our office via a card swipe, by phone, or through the online payment system. You’ll need to use the UCard app or the UCard Hub website to pay.

Payments for utilities using your UCard benefits may take several business days to be received by the PUD. When using the UCard, please allow up to two weeks for us to receive payment and be credited to your account.

For more information on your UnitedHealthcare UCard benefits, we encourage you to call the number on your plan member ID card (health insurance card) during the listed hours of operation or visit the UHC website.
